Permaculture is a philosophy of living and working which is rooted in the values of caring for the earth, the people, and all forms of life. It involves living harmoniously with the planet and with each other, and returning the earth’s blessings back into the circle of life.
The foundation of the CVN community is built around empowerment, sense of purpose, self-sufficiency and self-determination. Respect for the earth and each other will be established through collaborative participation in the permaculture activities of our farm programs. Further information regarding permaculture is available at ATTRA.
Principles and Pathways Beyond Sustainability
Apply self regulation & Accept feedback – The sins of the fathers are visited on the children unto the seventh generation
Use edges and value the marginal – Don’t think you are on the right track just because it is a well-beaten path.
